The Epic Saga Of Hiest Of Spain

This heist is one of the most dangerous stories of Spain

Estos son esos astutos ladrones que molestaron a la policía española.

Starting

There are over a 1,000 series released every year. But very few of them make you feel like you're a part. The series I felt similar emotions to after a very long time was MONEY HIST, a.k.a La Casa de PAPEL. This series doesn't need any introduction. Netflix acquired the Spanish series and it topped the charts around the world. Its popularity is at a whole new level. You'll find that the only people who are fans of this series are its die-hards. I am a Rare Species who is a diehard Breaking Bad fan and Money Heist. From the outside it looks like a simple heist story, but when you get into the series, you realize that this is only ONE drop of the 'Red' Ocean of Love and Resistance.

the plot thickens

The team is led by PROFESSOR, a simple man who does not exist and has no criminal history. Only his brother Berlin, who is part of the gang and knows his real name Sergio, is aware. There are many types of gang members. It is interesting to note that the Professor, along with his brother Berlin, scouts out the members of the gang. The Professor leads them all from outside. There's a hacker and lock-breaking experts, as well as people who have a lot of muscle and are calm. This team is made up of those that have suffered from poverty, as well as those who are fighting to change the system. In the sequence where they throw the notes in the air, the team is retaliating against the poverty that exists within society. This film's main theme is "Resistance" against oppressive fascist governments. It's no wonder that it's inspired real protests. They are also thieves who have consciences and do not steal any money from the public. The first heist they committed was at the ROYAL MINT where they made enough money notes to cover themselves. Their second heist took place in the BANK of SPAIN where the gold reserves were melted down and moved. Rio, one of the gang members who was arrested by police was the only reason for the second heist. The Characters are what give the show its power. Each character is unique. Tokyo can narrate the entire story, or Denver has a unique laugh. Each character also has a backstory that is incomplete and emotional. Each character is left to battle both his or her inner demons and the obstacles in their mission. There are also many rivalries between the members of the gang, which can lead to them fighting in different situations. When it's time to complete the mission, everyone comes together.

1. BELLA CIAO : I don't believe this song requires any introduction. It's amazing how it has become part of all cultures on the globe. It is actually an anti-fascist hymn to freedom and resistence. Before leaving Italy, an Italian freedom fighter said 'Bella Ciao" to his girlfriend. This means GOODBYE BEAUTIFUL. The song has existed since the late 19th century, when it was first sung by mondina workers (rice paddy workers). It then became the Italian Resistance Movement's anthem.
2. Red suit: A red suit is a symbol of resistance. Red is the color of blood and is therefore historically linked to sacrifice, dangers, passion, energy, and courage. As the team was resisting the system and wearing red suits, they were all a part of the team.
3. DALI Masks: This mask shows the Spanish artist, SALVADOR DALI. He is known for his rebellious art. Even today, his paintings such as 'The Persistence" and 'Burning Giraffe" are considered brilliant. In many of his works, he rebelled against the society and went "too" out of the box. He even crossed ethical lines. His personal life also had many controversies. The Dali masks represent fighting against the system and your own inner demons.

Love Relationships

A story that deals with Complex Relationships is another interesting aspect. It is a very rare heist-thriller to depict several tales of "true love". Tokyo is a woman who, after losing a love in one of her heists, has lived her life with guilt. She is now a woman over 30, and when she commits this heist she encounters a boy of 22 years. The two fall in Love and go through highs, lows, and difficulties. The series ends with the most heartbreaking scene. Rio still holds that Tokyo pendant in his hands, after Tokyo's death.
DENVER's relationship with MONICA (a.k.a. STOCKHOLM) is also interesting. Monica becomes a hostage during the heist and Denver and Monica fall in love. The couple not only get married, but they also have a son together. In addition to this she joins the Stockholm gang who are the perpetrators of the following heist. This name ‘Stockholm’ holds special importance, since the phenomenon in which a captive falls for the kidnapper has been called the 'Stockholm Syndrome.' After their marriage, however, their relationship still takes a ride on a rollercoaster for the duration of heist, before they finally get to know each other.

I think that a unique story was also developed around the topic of homosexuality. This is something to be commended. The main architects behind the heists were PALERMO & BERLIN. The two had spent many nights planning the heist in every detail. Palermo loved Berlin but Berlin was not a gay and had no romantic interest in him. The scene at the end, where Palermo pleads with the machine for it to start working citing the many emotions that he is attached to the device was so meaningful. The most unexpected relationship in the entire series is between PROFESSOR and RAQUEL a.k.a. LISBON. Profeesor approached Raquel to distract her from the investigation, but...it couldn't possibly be any other show than MONEY HIST when the leader of a robbery group and the chief of police fall in love. Raquel is also convinced that her own system is corrupt and not the intention of the heist. She joins in the next heist gang...HA HA. Mental Health This show is also a great way to raise awareness about mental health. RIO, a young boy, is subjected to severe shocks following aggressive incidents. STOCKHOLM also becomes unconscious in extremely stressful moments. Like I said above, the majority of characters fight the demons from their past stories. After breakups and heartbreaks during a heist, people behave in a different way. After losing their gang, they have to gather themselves. This shows the robbers are just normal people. Turns and Twists It is the best show I've ever seen. Every turn is filled with twists. There are many plans laid out by the police, but every time Professor has an answer ready...and that too in flashbacks. You will be cheering along with your team when you see some of the twists. Some shockers can be heart-breaking, but when a main character is killed during a mission you will feel like letting a piece of yourself go. This show is unpredictable and anything could happen at any moment. This is the main criticism, but I think it makes the show more exciting and unpredictable. Women Empowerment This show features a diverse team of women with each having their own specialty. Nairobi raised her child as a single mother, Nairobi had an ex-husband who cheated on her, Tokyo loved a man 10 years older than herself despite all the odds. They never give in to pressure from a powerful male. They rise instead and battle the patriarchy. NAIROBI said... Let the matriarchy begin!! ! The Most Abhorred Characters The main strength of the show is the characters. These series reflect the different definitions of what is good and bad. All the characters are shown from both sides. Some characters you just want to kill the moment they show up on screen. ARTURO will be the first character. People wanted to see him die. He was dirty, he harassed the women, and he poked his nose in everyone's face without reason. He was not killed because our team has a high ethical standard. This rule was only broken by GANDIA, another vile character. The security guard in charge at the bank used brutal tactics and was unethical, which led to some of the most important members of the Gang being killed.

Inspector TAMAYO, despite his being a policeman, becomes a villain because of corrupted and selfish actions. Berlin too was considered the villain up until the season two finale, when fans finally got to see his true self. This is also true for Inspector Alicia, who shared the same hatred as Arturo. It was almost impossible for her to stop the heist on her own, but Professor got her back by having her deliver her baby in a crisis situation. This also ended the relationship between her and the rest of the family. ARTURO and GANDIA, who played the infamous characters in the movie, deserve a double mark of respect. If you can get someone to fall in your love, you're a good actor. But if the world wishes for you to die, you're a truly great one. My Fav Character Most people would say TOKYO and PROFESSOR if asked to name their favorite character. However, I have a different answer. But, let me clarify that I adore these two characters as well as all of the other characters. But the character of BERLIN has to be my favorite. There is something about that character that I find myself in. It is the darkness that hides the fragility of this character. It was not only that he was a strict, arrogant leader but also sacrificed his life for his team. PEDRO ALONSO is my favorite character because of his brilliant acting and charismatic face.

Let me share some very positive news with all of you before we conclude. A spin-off series based on BERLIN will debut in 2023. It has certainly raised expectations for me. Money Heist revealed that Berlin was responsible for 27 previous heists. This will make watching the episodes play out a different experience. There could be some emotional scenes relating to the bitter endings of his marriage, childhood and child. The main characters will be there, along with some spine-chilling Easter eggs. Be prepared for BERLIN, 2023! ! BELLA BELLA FOREVER One month after we said goodbye to the series, I finally sign off this adventure. This series' ending was also up to par with its standard. Once again, our Professor used his intellect to manage everything in the midst of a dead end situation. He left the country on "Brass Reserve '...HA-HA." This series is centered around his lines "I'm an athief. I'm also the son and brother of thieves. I want to be a father." But unfortunately, many team members left. After the end of the series, the only way I can describe the series is . 'It was a robbery that ended in a family'. Through the entire journey, this series made laugh, cry and jump. Before each new season, the excitement was at a whole other level. The Epic and Heartbreaking Scenes have caused me to shout and jump. The characters, the writers, and my team have made me laugh and cry. It's true, I sang Bella Ciao to every single character on the show. This isn't just a series, I see myself as part of a larger family. A significant portion of the show will always be with me, and along with its end, it has taken a small part of my life with it. Thanks and goodbye to the entire team and family, and for the Epic Heist Saga. The Resistance continues. .....

Okk Lets Song

[Testo di "Bella Ciao"]

[Strofa 1]
Una mattina mi sono alzato
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
Una mattina mi sono alzato
E ho trovato l'invasor

[Strofa 2]
O partigiano, portami via
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
O partigiano, portami via
Ché mi sento di morir

[Strofa 3]
E se io muoio da partigiano
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
E se io muoio da partigiano
Tu mi devi seppellir

[Strofa 4]
E seppellire lassù in montagna
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
E seppellire lassù in montagna
Sotto l'ombra di un bel fior
